Immune Boosting Beet Smoothie Drink |
Beets are very simple and inexpensive ingredients, but very good staples for a healthy diet. While baking and boiling greatly reduces their nutritional burden, hiding them in your favorite smoothies or juices is a simple way to make them constantly. Their unique active compound called betalains acts as a powerful antioxidant and also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Filled with antioxidants and probiotics, this beet smoothie is made with fresh vegetables, delicious raspberries, and natural yogurt to replenish microbiome and support liver function.
Ingredient
- ½ inch pieces of ginger, peeled and grated
- ¾ cup natural yogurt
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 1 medium beet, peel and cut into small cubes
- 1 cup of raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 grapefruit, peel and cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
- Add all ingredients and half the amount of yogurt to the blender.
- The process for getting smooth and soft liquids.
- Divide the remaining yogurt into a serving glass, then pour the smoothie to get a beautiful-looking layer.
- Mix with a spoon before serving.
