Screwed-Up Screwdriver
A twist to a classic cocktail in the form of black vodka. It might look like there is rather a generous measure of alcohol in the photo pictured but the black does seep down and begin encroaching on the orange very easily.
Yield: 1 cocktail
Ingredients:
• 40 ml black vodka such as Blavod
• 200 ml orange juice (adjust to glass size)
• Liquorice to garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Fill a high ball glass with ice.
2. Pour in the orange juice.
3. Carefully pour the black vodka on top of the orange juice over the back of a spoon so that it rests on top.
4. Stick the licorice to the edge of the glass. If you put anything like a straw or stirrer in the glass it will ruin the orange and black layers but make sure you mix it up before you drink it as you will either have an immediate nasty shock or (if drunk through a straw) a load of juice followed by a huge hit of more or less neat vodka!
