Egg Roll in Bowl Low Carb and Gluten Free
The Healthy Egg Roll in the Bowl (aka Crack Slaw) has all the amazing Egg Roll flavors, but be sure to eat Easy One Pan Meal with all the flavors, but without the carby wrap.

Ingredient
  • 2 med onions (finely chopped / chopped)2 Tbsp white wine (remove or replace more broth with AIP)
  • Green onions for decoration (optional)
  • 1/2 Tbsp crushed red pepper (optional. Ignore for AIP)
  • 4 tsp tamari (or according to taste - see replacement options above)
  • 9 cups of grated cabbage (see note)
  • Cauliflower Rice (or rice)
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (turkey or chicken or game can also be used)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp crude sesame oil (use another oil for AIP)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger (powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (remove for AIP)
  • 1 teaspoon granules (or 4 cloves of garlic, chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or enough)
  • 1/16 tsp stevia extract (optional - See Recipe Notes)
  • 1/3 cup of beef broth (see vegan options above)
  • 1 1/2 cup of grated carrots


Instructions
  1. Place the meat in a large skillet and cook until browned.
  2. On medium heat, add onions and sesame oil. Cook until light brown.
  3. Reduce heat to moderate.
  4. Add seasonings, sweeteners, red pepper, grapes and broth to the pan and stir well.
  5. Add cabbage and stir well.
  6. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cabbage is a little withered.
  7. Add carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  8. Add tamari according to taste and adjust the desired spices.
  9. Serve without rice or cauliflower rice.
  10. Garnish with green onions if desired.
