Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzel Balls |
Chocolate covered pretzels are a staple food in my house. They are my choice to care for almost every opportunity. No roasting, ready in minutes, and perfect for satisfying my sweet and salty cravings. Now, combine the words chocolate pretzels with a thick layer of peanut butter (and I mean THICK) and you've got one little treat that's about the size of an addictive bite.
A peanut butter pretzel bite that is easily addictive and easy to make
Prep Time: 45 Mins
Cook Time: 15 Mins
Total Time: 1 Hour
Ingredient
- 3/4 cup packed with pink sugar
- two 4-ounce chocolate bars of semi-sweet, roughly chopped Bakers 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- Sugar 1/2 cup sugar
- 60 pretzels
Instructions
- Cover a large baking sheet with baking paper. Put aside.
- In a medium size bowl, mix the peanut butter and butter with a spoon. Stir in sugar until a thick mixture is formed. Roll the peanut butter mixture into 30 small balls. If it's too sticky, add more powdered sugar.
- Sandwich between two pretzels and place it on a prepared baking sheet. Freeze for 20-30 minutes.
- While the pretzel bite is cold, melt the chopped chocolate for about 1 minute in the microwave, stop and stir every 20 seconds. Dip the half-pretzel bite into the melted chocolate and place the bite back on the baking sheet. Chill the bites dipped for at least 10 minutes for chocolate.
- Fresh pretzel bites for up to 10 days are stored in the refrigerator. Bites can be frozen for up to 3 months. Melt overnight in the fridge.
