Banana protein pancake mixture recipe made from lentils. This vegan pancake is rich in vegetable protein from red lentils, oats, and flaxseeds. Free from wheat, beans, milk, eggs, oil and butter making it suitable for a whole plant-based diet.
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Total Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 1/2 cup / 95g Red split lentils
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup / 90g Oats
- A few tbsp Date Syrup
- 2 tbsp Flaxseeds
- 3/4 / 180ml cup Water
Instructions
- Soak the lentils overnight or at least an hour in hot water.
- Rinse and drain the lentils then add to the blender with the others.
- Blend until everything breaks, about 2 minutes.
- Pour about 1/3 cup of the mixture into a non-stick skillet,
- Spread with a diameter of about 5-6 "and cook for about 2 minutes at low to moderate until the pancakes begin to bubble and become darker.
- Stir in the pancake protein and cook on the other side for 2 minutes.
- Serve healthy vegan pancakes directly and the leftovers will be good for 3 days.
- This protein pancake is very delicious given fresh berries and date syrup.
