  • 1 small green paprika, cut into stems
  • 1 glass of brown rice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons of white wine or low-sodium chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 pound of sirloin steak over beef, cut thinly
  • 1 tablespoon of corn flour
  • 1/2 small onion, halved and sliced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh snow peas

Instruction
  1. In a small bowl, mix the first five ingredients. Pour 1/3 cup of seasoning into a large, resealable plastic bag; add beef. Bag seals and swivels to coat; chill for 30 minutes. Cover and chill the remaining seasoning.

  4. Saute the carrots and onions in the remaining oil for 4 minutes. Add green peppers and peas; saute 2-3 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir in the corn flour mixture and add to the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until it thickens. Add beef and pineapple; heat through. Serve with rice.
