Lasagna Soup Recipe Slow Cooker



Lasagna soup is easily made with beef, onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, tomato sauce, pasta and served with mozzarella cheese.

Ingredient
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
  • 1 (32 ounces) boxed chicken stock
  • 2 lasagna noodles broken
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (14.5 ounces) cans of petite dice tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounces) tomato sauce


Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, ground beef is brown and crushed with onions and paprika.
  2. Add the garlic for the last few minutes so it doesn't burn.
  3. Drain excess fat from the beef mixture.
  4. Put the beef back in the pan.
  5. Stir in thyme, Italian seasoning, salt, brown sugar, chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Mix well and boil until boiling.
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  7. Then add the broken lasagna noodles.
  8. You will need about 6 whole lasagna noodles to make about 2 broken glasses.
  9. Boil until the noodles are soft (about 10 minutes or more).
  10. Then stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  11. Spoon the soup into a bowl. Then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and serve.
