Wonton Soup Easy Recipe

This original home made dumpling soup recipe is easy and fun to make! Each warm bowl is packed with plump pork dumplings, fresh vegetables, and jumbo prawns.

Ingredient
Dumpling
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper, freshly pounded
  • 32 wrapper dumpling, box, Nasoya
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, fresh grated or finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/3 cups green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon halal salt
  • 32 small shrimp, cooked or raw, peeled (optional)

Soup
  • 7 cups chicken broth
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced diagonal
  • 1/3 cups green onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated or finely chopped
  • 4 ounces brown mushrooms, sliced, about 1 1/2 glasses
  • 3 baby leaves bok choy, separated
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and distributed


Instructions
Dumpling
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine pork, 2 teaspoons of ginger, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, 1/3 cups of green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. To test the seasoning, put a little on the safe plate of microwave and microwave with high power until cooked, about 10 seconds. Taste the seasonings and add more salt or pepper if needed.
