Make Honey Garlic Chicken
Let's talk about how to make honey garlic chicken.
Cook the vegetables in a hot pan, then remove the vegetables and add the chopped chicken breast and garlic. When the chicken is cooked, add the vegetables back to the pan.
Shake the chicken stock, soy sauce, honey and corn flour, then pour the chicken and vegetables. Bring to a boil for a few minutes then enjoy!

Ingredient
- 2 teaspoons of corn flour
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 2 cups of broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon vegetable oil divided use
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/4 cup of low sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1 inch
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add broccoli and carrots and cook for about 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Remove vegetables from the pan; place on a plate and cover.
- Wipe the pan clean with a tissue and change the heat to high.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of oil.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and add them to the pan in one layer - you may need to do this step in batches. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the vegetables back to the pan and cook for 2 minutes or until the vegetables are warmed.
- In a bowl, shake the chicken stock, honey and soy sauce.
- In a small bowl, mix corn flour with one tablespoon of cold water.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over chicken and vegetables; cook for 30 seconds.
- Add corn flour and bring to a boil; cook for 1 more minute or until the sauce just starts to thicken.
- Serve immediately, with rice if desired.
